AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October.

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.

What does this internship consists in?

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:

We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Logistics Process Optimization Intern to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Artificial Intelligence and real-world supply chain operations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven tools that enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline our logistics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Logistic process AI optimization:

  • Space Utilization Models: Design algorithms to analyze and optimize warehouse floor space and rack utilization.
  • Dynamic Receiving & Put-away: Create intelligent suggestions for the optimal placement of incoming goods based on turnover rates and compatibility.
  • Predictive Process Mapping: Identify bottlenecks in the current logistics flow and propose AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Route Optimization: Utilize machine learning to predict the most efficient delivery paths considering real-time traffic and historical data.

ERP Intelligent guidelines: Develop and deploy an AI-powered chatbot to facilitate seamless natural language queries within our internal ERP guidelines system to answer customer questions.

Demand Forecasting: Build predictive models to anticipate seasonal volume spikes and resource requirements.

Additional Innovative Projects

Automated Document Processing: Implement OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and NLP (Natural Language Processing) to automate the ingestion of shipping manifests and invoices.

Sustainability Analytics: Develop a tool to calculate and minimize the carbon footprint of specific logistics routes.

Required skills #AirbusDiversity

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Level C1 or equivalent English
  • Skills valued:
    • Technical Skills: High knowledge in programming language; Google workspace knowledge; experience with AI/ML frameworks API.
    • Logistics Interest: A strong desire to apply technical skills to the transport and supply chain sector.
    • Problem Solver: Ability to transform complex data into actionable operational tools.
    • Languages: Knowledge in German and French are highly recommended.
