Reporting to the Group Manager - Demand & Performance, the Digital Roof Procurement Officer is accountable for ensuring Airbus India & South Asia’s Digital needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

The Digital Roof Procurement Officer will ensure all purchasing needs/ IT requirements are procured & delivered as per plan- on time, cost & quality. This should be done with the support of procurement & finance teams, where the financial resources are used in the most efficient way to improve the company's financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Receive & review requests from IT stakeholders in Digital Roof teams ensuring accuracy & completeness.
  • Coordinate with procurement team for supplier selection, issue request for quotation (RFQs) & evaluate responses
  • Process purchase orders. ensure accurate ordering & track deliveries
  • Support overseeing IT inventory, including hardware, software & consumables. Help track/ manage IT assets for accuracy & compliance with organisational policies, using PO management expertise.
  • Analyse procurement related data to identify trends, opportunities & challenges and provide insights to stakeholders/ management
  • Collaborate with digital roof stakeholders , suppliers & other teams to ensure smooth procurement process
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers & internal stakeholders to drive value & innovation
  • Identify procurement, purchasing and performance risks and escalate through the appropriate internal channels.
  • Act as SME for Digital roof projects on purchasing processes and lead times
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement; simplifying the Digital Roof purchasing processes


Qualification & Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in IT procurement & procurement operations
  • BSc/ Ba in IT , Business Administration or relevant field
  • Data Analysis Skills to summarize & present key findings
  • Experience with documentation creation including SLA’s, key metrics and process flows
  • Experience with procurement tools such as Click and Buy will be an advantage
  • Strong understanding of IT business processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Extraordinary problem solving skills
  • Strong advocate for change management to support organisational changes aimed at achieving organizational objectives
