We are looking for a Digital Regulation Legal Specialist (m/f) for our Airbus Defense and Space business to join our Digital Regulatory Legal Affairs department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of an international team composed of digital regulatory in-house counsels and DPOs, in charge of supporting the implementation of Airbus privacy, artificial intelligence and data act compliance programs.

You will be involved in supporting Airbus business organizations in their compliance with digital compliance requirements in their day-to-day operations aiming at ensuring the highest level of digital ethics and compliance for the group.

You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment where your proven experience, expertise and knowledge directly impacts day-to-day business operations.

Your main mission:

  • Review and assess Airbus' personal data processing, AI system mapping and ensure up-to-date regulatory records
  • Launch, support and validate any required digital regulation (e.g. privacy, AI, etc.) risk assessments
  • Contribute in the setting up or update of any relevant internal digital regulation policies, processes and associated documentation and tools
  • Support contractual negotiations on digital regulation terms
  • Manage personal data breach and data subject request in coordination with any relevant business functions/affiliates
  • Perform digital regulation audits
  • Prepare and deliver training on digital regulation for employees

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Education: Advanced university degree in Law (Master 2/LL.M. in ICT Law, Digital Law, Intellectual Property Law, Business Law with a digital specialization or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience / or up to 5 years as a Digital Regulatory Lawyer/Legal Counsel, gained within a law firm or a large international group, ideally in a regulated sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent command of the GDPR and European/French digital regulations (Dact Act, DMA, AI Act, NIS2, etc.). Knowledge of international regulations would be an advantage. Proven appetency for digital and innovation. Knowledge in IT and AI technologies is a clear differentiator.
  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both French and English, both written and spoken. German will be a Plus.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Autonomy and proactivity.
    • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
