We are currently looking for a Data Analyst & Automation Manager (d/f/m) to join our team ‘ Performance & Contracting - Logistics & Repair Operations ’ in Hamburg - Fuhlsbüttel, Germany.
We are a team consisting of Data Analyst & Automation Managers, Process & Performance Managers as well as Airbus Operating System Experts. You will truly be part of a global, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team with representation in Denmark, Germany, Singapore and soon in the US.
DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
Data & analytics is one of the largest levers Satair has for accelerating a continuous Improvement culture within the organization. It serves as a vital tool to increase efficiency, competitiveness, employee engagement & most importantly customer satisfaction.
We are looking for our new Data Analyst & Automation Manager who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us develop actionable, data-driven insights and solve business problems, using various quantitative tools and core project & stakeholder management skills. The candidate will challenge the status quo as well as ensure operational excellence by speeding implementation across the organisation.
Prior experience of developing and managing E2E On-Time Delivery Data Products will be an advantage.
This role reports to the Head of Performance & Contracting and requires continuous cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Sales, Product Management, and IT Teams from all our sites in the world.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will manage, structure and implement data sources especially related to Satair On-Time Delivery for performance management and derive insight in how the company performs and can improve
- You will develop Data Products with adherence to various Satair Data Product Development & Management processes.
- You will develop performance dashboards with key metrics reflecting company performance and performance perceived by customers for review with senior leadership and business teams.
- You will deploy statistical techniques and tools for tactical deep dives and analysis; generating actionable insights and effectively communicating recommendations to senior leadership
- You will act as an internal consultant and supporter for end to end improvement missions
- You will run/lead data driven root causes analysis and align different functions around a common improvement goal
- You will translate customer satisfaction expectations into operational target
This role may involve some travel for business mainly within Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
ABOUT YOU
- You hold a degree in Computer Science, IT, Data & Automation or similar paired with professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Data & Automation Manager or comparable.
- You have experience in Python, including data manipulation and analysis libraries.
- You are familiar with database systems and SQL.
- You are familiar with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms such as Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Microsoft Fabric etc.
- You are able to visualize and communicate data and analyses (Tableau or similar).
- You have a Strong Process Mindset - E2E ‘Order to invoice’ process understanding as the Data Products will be based on such processes.
- You bring exceptional analytical skills to structure ambiguous situations and you use data-driven troubleshooting to drive solutions in industrial environments.
- You are a proactive networker, bringing the ability to build long-term stakeholder relationships while confidently challenging and influencing others to drive change.
- You bring the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions in complex environments, meeting tight deadlines with agility and resilience.
- You are used to working in multifunctional and multicultural organizations.
- You have good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner. And any other language is a plus.
