Cyber Security System Engineer (d/m/w)

We are a fully integrated business of Airbus Defence and Space, with 1300+ cyber professionals based across our offices in France, Germany, the UK and Spain. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible to define security requirement and security concept
  • Support the System Architect on the Cybersecurity System/Network design
  • Assessment and selection of the adequate Security Product
  • Evaluate, develop and adapt Baseline for secure system and network configuration and hardening aligned with security requirement
  • Security Vulnerability Assessment
  • Security threat and Risk Assessment and simulation of attack scenarios and possible remediation ( knowledge of certain tools and methods ...)


Desired skills and qualifications

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science or completed vocational training in the field of IT (e.g. IT specialist, Cybersecurity Specialist)
  • Good Knowledge of Security Products and Communications protocols
  • Capability to define baseline and best Practice for system hardening and configuration
  • Capabilities to define verification and validation procedures for secure architecture
  • knowledge of the different Security Concepts ( Zero Trust, Secure by Default , Multilayer Security ...)
  • Knowledge of System programming languages ( PowerShell , Shell, Python...)
  • Very good communication and writing Skills in English (German and Spanish are a plus)
  • Ability to work in a team and a strong ability to work in a structured and independent manner
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace or safety related domain is a plus
