Airbus Commercial is looking for a Corporate Auditor (f/m) to join our Corporate Audit department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join a team whose mission is to "enhance and protect Airbus value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight". Corporate Audit strengthens Airbus’s ability to create, protect, and sustain value by providing to the Chief Executive Officer, Governing Bodies and management with independent, risk-based, and objective assurance, advice and anticipation, on Airbus activities, directives and methods, operational improvement and performance.

Corporate Audit covers all areas of Airbus activities with a focus on key risks and priorities

Your challenges:

  • Establishing the audit objective and scope with Corporate Audit's management,
  • Performing audits in accordance with the professional standards, e.g. of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA),
  • Identifying key business risks and discussing with the business and its senior management through the application of in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by the business,
  • Delivering structured, objective assessments in English (audit reports) of complex evidence that will guide senior management action and in some instances potentially be the basis for further legal action,
  • Organising feedback meetings with senior management to discuss findings, develop actions and recommendations, and achieve acceptance for implementation,
  • Timely tracking the implementation of agreed actions (follow up) and supporting management to report the status to top stakeholders.

Your boarding pass:

  • At least 10 years of business experience, including at least 5 years in a variety of demanding audit missions for industrial companies.
  • A professional certification in Audit or Risk Management is an advantage.
  • Significant personal initiative both when working alone and as team member,
  • Cooperative and collaborative mindset, quickly building trust on all hierarchic levels with the ability to hold its grounds when needed,
  • Communication skills, an open-mind and aspiration to the highest levels of integrity and professionalism as required by the Airbus Ethics Code,
  • Good drafting skills and the ability to synthesize relevant information,
  • Agility to lead a wide variety of audits while demonstrating consistent excellence and strong stakeholder management,
  • High level of self-awareness and self-reflection,
  • Role model & coach posture and key contributor to the wellbeing in the team.
  • A negotiation level in English is required (with the ability to write audit reports in English).

The role involves periodic travel to perform fieldwork in diverse Airbus locations around the world. In order to fulfil audit assignments, you will be required to travel and visit remote company sites for about 40% of the assigned working hours
