Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Enterprise Architect (f/m) to join our Digital Strategy & Architecture based in Marignane, France.

You will be part of a team responsible to support the company's strategy and business roadmaps in proposing global architecture design for decision making and implementation framing.

The challenges of the international team are to build and deploy a strategy around innovative technologies in perpetual evolution, to master convergence , standardize means, simplify and modernize the information system.

The team is in contact with a large audience of stakeholders (business directorates, digital transformation office, IM representatives, Airbus divisions - subsidiaries, partners...) in an international context.

This mission of Enterprise Architects covers a large scope, different domains (manufacturing / production - engineering - customer services) , innovation topics and the role is becoming similar to internal business / IT consultant for architecture design (civil or military projects).

Your future missions :

  • maintain the architecture referential : APM (Application Portfolio Management)
  • maintain, use and promote AH architecture framework (design patterns, architecture principles, modeling tool : EA Sparx )
  • select and define AIRBUS Group standards,
  • lead the functional business and applicative architecture design,
  • develop and manage business and applicative roadmaps,
  • apply enterprise architecture’s methodology and promote standards,
  • respect regulations on data management (Export Control, NATO...),
  • act as an internal consultant / expert,
  • work with business teams, IM teams, other Airbus divisions and external consultants and lead the requirements gathering. Understand and formalize business issues / drivers and requirements,
  • analyze the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on Airbus Helicopters IS according to business process evolutions.

Your profile:

  • B achelor’s degree in computer science, information technology
  • 5/10 years of proven experience in strategic projects framing in an international context
  • Double competencies: IT knowledge and on business processes / context (aerospace or similar industry context)
  • Experience on Application Portfolio management
  • Experience on architecture modeling tools (i.e. SPARX)
  • Knowledge of several IT domains (cloud, containerization, security...) and more generally knowledge on innovative technologies (IoT, AR VR, big data, AI, RPA...). You are familiar with public/private cloud features (AWS, Azure, GCP...)
  • Knowledge in framework and repository for enterprise architecture : Togaf, IAF, Alfabet, ServiceNow, Mega, Archimate,
  • Knowledge on innovative technologies supporting augmented architects strategy (knowledge graph base, artificial intelligence, ...)
  • Experience in SAFE/Agile methodology,
  • Ability to address complex topics/environments,
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies,
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations, propose architecture solutions and estimate financial impacts,
  • Advanced level of English,
  • Advanced level of French

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
