Responsibilities

The job holder will act as Connectivity innovation coordinator China to manage connectivity innovation related projects of Airbus China R&D Centre. Mission for this job is to track, understand and leverage the connectivity ecosystem in China and EU to provide innovative connectivity technologies to support Airbus’ connectivity related business.

It’s the job holder’s responsibility to ensure successful collaboration with airbus global connectivity community incl. fast track leader connectivity, connected aircraft, etc. by preparation, planning, execution and delivery of the connectivity innovation technology projects. It includes a full cycle of strategy planning, project management, budget allocation, liaise with global and local stakeholders and cooperation partners.

  • Build, manage and enhance ACRI connectivity innovation projects and report to steering committee
  • Close work with 1X fast track leader connectivity to support definition and execution of connectivity strategy and projects (goal, plan and resource) for China and global market
  • Reach out to relevant stakeholders for information collection to identify business opportunities for Airbus connectivity business in China. Create solutions and business models based on market and technology status and get stakeholders’ buy-in
  • Lead team on connectivity and communication standards related works in China
  • Liaises with stakeholders of steering and partners to ensure support on team activities.
  • Build, manage and grow connectivity technology team in ACRI
  • Delivery owner of all team projects (timing, resource, coordination)
  • Ensure compliance to all client requirements and appropriate communication to clients and ensure efficient implementation of all systems


Qualifications

Education:

  • Engineering and business related major, connectivity related background is preferred
  • Master degree or above

Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in engineering and/or business development or similar (experience of aviation or telecom is plus)
  • Solid experience in business case study and strategy planning/execution for market implementation of advanced technology (for disruptive technology will be a plus)
  • Autonomy in working, pro-active attitude and have an ownership in team delivery
  • Experience in coordination with various stakeholders like multiple divisions and business units to ensure corporate support
  • Experience in managing a team of multiple project managers for multiple parallel running projects to ensure delivery with planned timing, cost and quality (TCQ)
  • Experience in team management and development, team leader to encourage and enhance team
  • Team and project financial and people management
  • Diverse work experience in multicultural environment is preferred
  • Change management skill is appreciated
  • Ability to communicate across a broad range of technical disciplines
  • Flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities in the course of daily business
  • Fluent English is a must
