Commodity Manager Ground Support Equipment (d/f/m)

Then we are your place!! You will secure the daily business and work on real saving projects with direct impact in the customer managing a sub-MFT composed of members from engineering, programm, SC&Q, contracts,...

The team is in charge of the Procurement of Ground Support Equipment for all Air Power platforms offering you an opportunity to develop procurement skills in a motivating, challenging, innovating and creative technical context.

You will develop end to end business solutions directly influencing Customer costs, looking at the big picture for your perimeter and collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for sub-MFT leading and the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services);
  • Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy
  • Implement the Procurement policy
  • Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets)
  • Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, etc...) & contract management
  • Contribute in monitoring & improving supplier performance
  • Identifie & lead value creation project and support product /service innovation
  • Sustain long term relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure risk management


Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering
  • 3-5 years relevant working experiences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Negotiating and persuasion skills
  • Aptitude for figures, finance, budgets and numeracy
  • Teamwork and Leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time to meet deadlines
  • Fluent German and English skills
