Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin System Technician m/f to join our Cuqtomer Services department, based in Toulouse, France.

As a Cabin System Technician you establish cabin modification and upgrades after aircraft delivery.

As a Cabin System Technician, you will join a team of 16 people and you will have an End-to-end scope. You will manage the entire process from the initial offer to final implementation, encompassing the design and development phase.

Your challenges :

After customer acceptance, once the offer is accepted, you are contributing to cabin conversions projects for which you are accountable for engineering activities during the production phase as follow:

  • Participate to Kick Off Meeting for our team perimeter (technical scope & detailed planning validation)
  • Being the engineering contributor for your portion of cabin reconfiguration in front of the cabin actors (MP dossier, engineering drawing, LOCs & SB drawing set)
  • Following project management of your contribution deliverables (including LLI & LOCs)
  • Elaborating Service Bulletin preparation activities for your perimeter (internal or external preparation/authoring depending on the Make or Buy Policy)
  • Preparing the MP dossier (Mod) instruction (MP intent box) for the engineering portion you are responsible for
  • Elaborating the impacted RF/CI list for Known Mod and the Interface table from the Technical Offer (TO) + cabin layout for the work package you are responsible for
  • Analysing & proposing PRE/POST design solutions for the RF/CI your are responsible for
  • Creating & pre-validating engineering & design activities following the release process (based on future technical delegations)
  • Keeping Suprem planning up to date for all activities under your responsibility
  • Identifying “Long Lead Item” (LLI) part for early ordering and the final List Of Components (LOC), to be in line with the kit delivery Target Date (TD)
  • Being Responsible for Engineering/LOC production planning (BU letter) for your portion
  • Pre-check of the SB to contribute to the SB Scrutiny for your portion (practice for your future technical delegations)
  • Providing technical support during SB embodiment on aircraft via remote (as necessary) and prepare answer to SB queries & Defect report (DR),
  • Ensuring on-site technical assistance during the working party. This role will involve some business travels to foreign countries for periods of several weeks
  • Contribution & participating to the recap project meeting


When you have the required experience, other functions/responsibilities can be accumulated:

  • Technical delegations for Specific Design Work (SDW)
  • RTE 1, 2 delegations
  • Defect Report (DR) signature
  • SB technical approval delegations
  • Support the newcomers upskilling


Your boarding pass:

  • Technician degree on aeronautical domain as mechanical/electrical systems installation or structure
  • Experience in Aircraft Design (in Design Office but especially well appreciated on A320/A330 family)
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional (Technical purpose)/conversational level of English
