Job Title/Role: C295 MCA Planning & Production Controller

Location: Hyderabad, INDIA

Brief Description: Responsible for production planning and control for the Airbus team resident in India for the Make in India project, in which 40 aircraft will be manufactured in India by Airbus supplier partner.

The main mission of the position is to ensure that all parts requested for the assembly line in India are delivered on time, managing all incidents that may arise due to secondary flows. It is important to highlight that, beyond all the above, the key role in the industrialization process: work on the reporting system, detect new needs in materials management and develop to stabilize and secure

Airbus procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Airbus team deployed in Vadodara/Hyderabad and support the Industrialization of Make In India (Industrial Managers of Main Component Assembly (MCA) facility, Pre-Final Assembly Line (pre-FAL)/FAL and Flight Line / Delivery Center)
  • Development of key KPIs, focus on parts management
  • Implement and stabilize a work process between Airbus and supplier partner on how we share information and prioritise missing parts
  • Ensure parts, which are Airbus' responsibility, arrive in India on time
  • Visibility for the Airbus Spain team on actual assembly need dates
  • Visibility for the Airbus Spain team on white, red and black parts
  • Visibility for the Supplier Partner on coverage progress, availability of detail parts and equipment under Airbus' responsibility
  • Management of rejections at reception at facilities in India (shortages and excess)
  • Ensure the correct balance of coverage due to secondary flow
  • Track shipments from Spain to India containing urgent parts
  • Management of work orders in SP1 (creation, tracking and closing)
  • Control of work order cost
  • Coordinate with the Airbus Spain logistics team on critical parts to be sent by air
  • Track the secondary flow together with all stakeholders. Identify risks and blockage points during this complex flow. Quick reaction for replacements in India and coordination with the Airbus Spain team
  • Ensuring damaged parts are properly returned to the Airbus Spain warehouse
  • Management of reallocations
  • Coordinating with the customer during the delivery process
  • Focal point for tracking parts sold to Supplier Partner, supporting FAL and MCA representative
  • Impact analysis of new Industrial Plan updates, focus on parts availability due to these re-planning

Knowledge & Skills:

  • English language, autonomous level
  • Spanish language, working knowledge
  • Project Management fundamentals
  • Availability for traveling occasionally, including training period in Spain
