AIS has three business lines, dedicated to supporting our groupwide customers:
- Helicopter Technical Operations supporting Airbus Helicopters;
- Aircrew Assistance supporting Airbus Helicopters and ATR;
- Airplane Operations supporting Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence and Space, ATR, Satair;

We are looking for a C295 Aircraft Manager to join the AIS Airplane Business Line. The selected candidate will work in cooperation with the Airbus Defense &Space team and AIS and will be asked to support short term and/or long term missions Worldwide.
The first mission should be located in Portugal for a duration of 4 years.
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent contract.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the end-to-end maintenance event assigned to support Airbus Defence and Space LTA MRO Network, including the preparation phase, execution, and close up.
• Prepare best industrial solutions for each event, considering business cases, means, tooling, etc.
• Deliver optimized event quotations within the agreed timeline and cost.
• Act as the focal point for the end Customer and AD& S Service Programme Office during
assigned maintenance events.
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting and follow-up on each defect, including engineering approach if necessary.
• Coordinate with Program, local team, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, and Quality per event.
• Responsible for the operational lead of the MFT (Production, Production Control, Engineering, and Quality) for each event.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance event milestones, such as quality gates, cost directive acceptance, CAMO, and cost controlling and planning.
• Confirm internal/external resources and define the Statement of Work for subcontracting • Contribute to on-time delivery (OTD) and customer satisfaction. • Act as a safety preventive resource during events. • Drive continuous improvement by gathering lessons learned from each event, proposing and implementing actions. • Identify customer needs and provide proactive offers and support setup.
