Business Analyst for SAP FI/CO

Responsibilities - your mission

The jobholder will join the Finance transformation team and will be responsible for SAP S/4 HANA Finance support and project deployment within the group.

In an international environment, connected with a wide Finance network, in collaboration with multicultural and multifunctional teams (Finance, IT, Sales, Logistic, Subsidiaries...), the jobholder will contribute to the following types of projects:

  • SAP S/4 HANA Finance Solutions deployment in Airbus entities

Support Group worldwide transformation by extending SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance solution to Airbus subsidiaries, generating process and compliance harmonization.

  • Finance systems evolutions

Adjust permanently Airbus Finance solutions to answer to business evolutions and challenges, to comply with tax, accounting norms and other regulations.

Provide Airbus Finance community with digital solutions, generating simplification and efficiency, through new ways of working, and automation.

Tasks & accountabilities:

On the S/4 HANA SAP solutions covering General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Cost accounting,Consolidation and Treasury, the jobholder will have the responsibilities to support Airbus worldwide accounting users network, for 110+ legal entities of the Airbus Group divisions..

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a primary point between stakeholders (business users and IT teams,etc.), ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the change management on activities to ensure successful adoption of new solutions.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timelines and budget.
  • Lead discussions and workshops with finance, accounting, and controlling stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications for SAP FICO solutions.
  • Design and propose efficient and scalable SAP FICO solutions that align with business objectives and best practices.
  • Define the migration strategy
  • - Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • - Develop and deliver training programs to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and optimal utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.



Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance / IT (ideally as Business Analyst)
  • Background in Accounting & Management Accounting standards
  • Good understanding of Business Processes in Finance area (R2R, P2P, O2C...)
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects and support (ideally including S/4HANA).
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting workshops, and performing gap analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe) and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP S/4HANA) will be a plus
