Join the world’s leading helicopter service provider and the backbone of Britain’s civil and military rotorcraft hub. We are seeking professional B1.3 Licensed Engineers to maintain excellence across our fleet of H135 and H145

Location Flexibility: Your Career, Your Base

Whether you prefer a permanent location or a rotating role, we offer flexibility across two primary UK sites:

  • RAF Shawbury (Shropshire): Supporting the MFTS fleet.
  • RAF Valley (Anglesey): Supporting the MFTS fleet

Take a leading role in transforming UK military aviation support. We are recruiting foundational members for our inaugural 7-day MFTS Base Maintenance team - a high-performance group built from the ground up. This unique opportunity at RAF Shawbury offers a modern approach to work-life balance through 12-hour equalized shift cycles (featuring 4-on/4-off or 7-on/7-off patterns).

The Role

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and reports to the MFTS Base Maintenance Manager.

B1 Licensed Engineer (Mechanical)

  • Responsibilities: Certify maintenance, repairs, and inspections on airframe structures, power plants, and mechanical systems.
  • Supervision: Oversee maintenance fitters and certify their work.
  • Requirements: A CAA Part 66 B1.3 License (Turbine Rotorcraft) is essential.

Application Requirements

  • Right to Work: All applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK.
  • Security: Applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance. To meet the criteria for this clearance, you must typically have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. A DBS check is also required.
  • Compliance: Must meet all ITAR and Export Compliance regulations.
  • Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a highly presentable manner at all levels.
