Job Description:

In the frame of scheduled trainings to customers airlines and PART 147 regulations, providing maintenance courses on all ATR versions and on all aircrafts systems, either within ATR training centers (Blagnac, Singapore, Bangkok, Johannesburg, Miami), or on customer’s site.

JOB COVERAGE
• All training courses on all four ATR families, on all aircraft systems and related differences.
• Course of differences between professional category (mechanics to avionics or vice versa).
• "Engine Run Up” courses,
• Each instructor, all courses combined, trains an average of 100 trainees per year.
• Courses lasting a minimum of one week and a maximum of seven weeks are provided using all available teaching resources (EAO, fixed or mobile simulators, trainers, workshop, cockpit mock-up, plane).

RESPONSIBILITIES
I) Instructor / Controller on aircraft:
• To conduct, in full autonomy, the theoretical and practical ATR training courses, all systems and all aircrafts, in our training centers or at the customers, in compliance with the various aviation regulations (PART 147 certification)
• Ensuring during “run-up” courses, during engine starts, low or high power checks, safety of personnel and the aircraft.
• To use sensitive training facilities, such as simulators, appropriately and request modifications and / or repairs to ensure their operation and compliance with aircraft systems.
• To prepare the customer to carry out all maintenance tasks according to “state of the art” rules, in order to reduce maintenance costs and increase work safety.
• To guide the trainee on the aircraft to locate equipment and discuss different maintenance tasks and safety instructions
• To familiarize the trainee with ATR technical documentation and airplane tools.
• To participate in pilot training course on systems studies.
II) Examiner:
• To update the theoretical exams,
• To ensure the exams and checks are performed according to standards in force.

• To prepare trainee files to issue them a certificate of professional competence recognized by the aeronautical authority.
• On site controller on Simulators and Planes

III) SME (Subject Matter Expert):
• To ensure the configuration of teaching resources in accordance with the different aircraft versions.
• To write pedagogical specifications to each ATA to reorganize the Maintenance courses.
• To validate developments carried out by external subcontracting.

MAIN DIFFICULTIES
• Preferably qualified B1 and B2
. Adapt training to different clients coming from different horizons and cultures.
• Manage a group of trainees of different levels and cultures.
• Organize and manage courses outside the ATC Training Center.
• Respond in real time to all kinds of questions from customers.
• Adapt the teaching method according to the abilities of the students.
• Switch from one aircraft version to another and from one language to another, always ensuring the expected quality standards.
• Be audited by the competent authorities for the maintenance of PART 147 approval.

FINAL GOALS
• To provide airlines employees, at all levels of skills (managers, mechanical technicians or avionics,
line mechanics), theoretical and practical training of the appropriate aircraft for maintenance tasks that enable them to obtain certification PART.
• To meet customer expectations in terms of technical purpose and quality.
• To participate in ATR's "image" as part of the after-sales service and the promotion of the ATR aircraft.
