Internship objective:

The aim of this internship is to develop a parametric modeling tool for the rudder control mechanism of ATR aircraft.

The aim of this model, coupled with existing simulation tools, is to predict aircraft behavior and pilot feedback. In this way, future modifications to the rudder control mechanism can be anticipated from a handling qualities point of view.

Detailed description of the mission

  • Specify the objectives of the model and the expected performance, and its interfaces with flight mechanics models.
  • Code the model by using existing data (static models, kinematics equations, test results).
  • Work with the « Aircraft & Engine Models Development » department to integrate the kinematics model into the simulation tool OSMA.
  • Test and verify model consistency with data from different kinematic tests.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the model.

Être stagiaire chez ATR, c’est être intégré au sein d’une équipe comme un membre à part entière avec un véritable périmètre d’intervention et des responsabilités.

Objectif du stage :

L’objectif de ce stage est d’élaborer un outil de modélisation paramétrique de la chaine de commande de la gouverne de direction des avions ATR.

L’objectif de ce modèle, couplé à des outils de simulation existants, est de prédire des comportements avion et les ressentis pilote. Ainsi, les modifications futures des éléments de la chaîne de commande de direction pourront être anticipées d’un point de vue qualités de vol.

Descriptif des missions proposées

  • Spécifier les objectifs et performances attendus du modèle, ses interfaces avec les modèles de mécanique du vol.
  • Coder le modèle en réutilisant les données existantes (modèles statiques, équations de cinématique, résultats d’essais).
  • Travailler conjointement avec le département « Aircraft & Engine Models Development » à l’intégration du modèle de cinématique dans l’outil de simulation OSMA.
  • Tester et vérifier la cohérence du modèle avec des données issues des tests efefctués avec différentes cinématiques.
  • Créer et maintenir à jour une documentation technique du modèle.

Ce stage est fait pour vous:

  • Futur Ingénieur mécanique, aéronautique ou équivalent
  • Calcul mécanique, programmation, notions de mécanique du vol
  • Curiosité, autonomie, travail en équipe interdisciplinaire
  • Français, anglais
  • Programmation en langage C

Durée 6 mois (maximum légal 6 mois)
