Your mission:
An apprenticeship opportunity titled : Apprentice for Systems/Software engineering has just opened at Airbus India located in Titanium Tech Park, Tree Park Metro Station, Dinnur Main Road, near ITPL Main Road, Kadugodi Colony, Gramantana, Kadugodi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560067. You will join the Systems department in charge of Aircraft & Propulsion controls, Fluid & Hydromechanical systems, Flight Warning System, Communication Navigation & Surveillance systems and Helicopter avionics .
Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in July 2026.
Your main missions will consist of :
• Work on systems or software engineering assignments within Systems department for design, development, verification and certification of aircraft/ helicopter systems
• Contribute to the system integration and V&V
• Contribute to automation/ improvement projects that assist in the design , development or testing of aircraft systems
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation for system requirements, design, and certification compliance
• Perform root cause analysis and provide resolutions for in-service events reported by customers
Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills
This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:
• Build hands on experience of systems or software engineering processes and practices used in the aerospace industry
• Build knowledge of aircraft systems and their functioning during aircraft operations
• Develop soft skills to work and collaborate within in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
Your Boarding Pass:
Eligibility Criteria:
• You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in Aerospace/Avionics/Electronics & Communication/ Electrical/ Mechanical engineering
• Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome)
• Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship
You possess the following competences:
Technical skills :
• Knowledge of radio communication or control systems or propulsion systems • Basic knowledge of aerospace domain
• Proficiency with modelling tools like MATLAB Simulink, SCADE or similar
• Programming using C, C++ or Python
• Strong problem solving and logical thinking ability
• Proficiency with Google workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets etc.) is added advantage
Soft Skills :
• Ability to work within a team of multidisciplinary and multicultural individuals • Proactive with willingness to learn and deliver
• Demonstrate sense of ownership
Language skills :
• English : Fluent (reading, writing & speaking)
• French: Beginner/Intermediate (speaking) will be an added advantage
