Your mission:

An apprenticeship opportunity titled : « Apprentice - Structures » has just opened at Airbus India l ocated in Bangalore . You will join the Structures department.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in [July/2026] (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of :

• Task 1: Mechanical Design: 1D, 2D or 3D tolerance studies, formalization of tolerance report & drawing sets. Understand & execute tolerance calculations using different statistical approaches.

• Task 2 : Digitalization in materials data, AI/ML in material science

• Task 3: Performing analysis of how heat and air interacts with advanced structural materials of aircraft through computational fluid dynamics and thermodynamics concepts

Task 4: CAD Modeling, and data management processes.

Software development and scripting for engineering tools.application of AI/Machine Learning concepts for automation.

Task 5: Analysis of Aircraft Structures

Task 6:Electrical standard parts qualification and development

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills

This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:

• Mechanical Design and GD&T

• Aircraft Materials - Metals, composites

• Concepts of Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics

• Electrical standard component qualification & development
  
• Technical writings
  

Static & Fatigue analysis of Aircraft structures

Structural Integrity mitigation

RCA for inservice findings

Airworthiness requirements

Inservice documentations

Eligibility Criteria:

• You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in Aerospace / Mechanical / material science/Electrical and electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science].
  
• Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).
  
• Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.
  
  

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

• Mechanical design skills. Knowledge of CATIA is preferred.
  
• Material knowledge - Metals/ Composites
  
• Knowledge of electrical components
  
• SoM, SFD & BMD, Basic static & Fatigue skills
  
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python, Javascript, or C++).
  
• Introductory knowledge of data science, machine learning, or AI concepts.
  
• General awareness of data structures and algorithms.
  
  

- Soft Skills :

• Ability to work independently & in a team, in a transnational environment
  
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral, written & presentation)
  
• Flexibility & adaptability to changing project scenarios and requirements
  
• Stakeholder Management
  
• Interest and capability in using code to automate repetitive tasks, analyze engineering data, or run basic simulations.

- English :Fluent
