Your mission:

An apprenticeship opportunity titled : « Technical Services Engineer » has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the "IISBI" department in charge of Fleet Technical Management in Airbus, Customer Services.

The Fleet Technical Management team supports our contracted airline customers in operating their Airbus fleet with the highest level of safety, reliability and efficiency.

Ideally, this is a 12-month program and it should start in [July/2026] (date subject to flexibility).

Your main missions will consist of:

  • Support in collection and notification of Airbus publications such as SB, VSB, TFU, AOT & OIT.
  • Support as required in the overall Technical Publication Management process.
  • Support the ARC and CMR Documentation preparation and standardisation of the processes
  • Support to prepare the Reliability Control Program report through data consolidation, cleanup and validation such as from Maintenance Information System (MIS), Aircraft service records and shop finding reports.
  • Consolidate data to support technical investigation of topics such as Pilot Reports, Maintenance Reports, Recurring defects, Aircraft delays, Cancellations and Events such as but not limited to IFSD, ATB, etc.
  • Help to define and maintain aircraft model configuration and customer aircraft configuration data (kardex in AMASIS or configuration Tree in AMOS)
  • Support the preparation of Engine or Landing gear change packages, Engine Oil consumption reports, Structure damage summary report, Dent & Buckle Mapping etc.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of industrialized processes, methods and tools to improve efficiency

Your tutor will support you to identify your professional objectives and develop your skills. This apprenticeship will allow you to develop the following skills:

  • Understand the Fleet Technical management ecosystem similar to an airline with specific focus on the engineering domains
  • Review of Technical Publications, Fleet or Component Reliability Analysis and Aircraft configuration management

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You are a Fresh Graduate (Technical Under Graduate or Post Graduate) in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Avionics, Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering
  • Zero Work Experience: This program is exclusively for candidates with no prior full-time professional work experience. (Internships and academic projects are excluded from this and are welcome).
  • Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration of the apprenticeship.

You possess the following competences:

- Technical skills :

  • Good knowledge of Continued Airworthiness Management
  • Basic Understanding of aircraft and its systems
  • Basic Understanding of aviation regulations
  • Good Knowledge in data analytics and basic scripting (macros, appsheet, python, etc.)

- Soft Skills :

  • Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn, develop, and think creatively
  • Superior organizational skills, managing multiple priorities, and a strong attention to detail.

- Language skills :

- English : fluent
