This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the core AI and analytical services that will drive the future of this joint venture, transitioning from established Airbus infrastructure to a dedicated, independent landscape.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Service Owner for AI & Analytics Capabilities to lead the operational delivery and future transformation of our digital services for the BROMO project. In this critical role, you will initially oversee the seamless provision of AI and analytical services leveraging the existing, high-performing capabilities of Airbus Defence and Space. Concurrently, you will lead the strategic planning, architectural mapping, and operational readiness required to carve out these dedicated capabilities into a fully autonomous, sovereign technical stack that will remain with the new joint venture. You will act as the key bridge between Airbus digital functions, the BROMO project leadership, and external stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence, security compliance, and long-term viability.

Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery Management: Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of AI & Analytics services delivered to the BROMO project from current Airbus Defence and Space French platforms, maintaining strict compliance with operational standards and service agreements. The succesful candidate will manage AI capabilities such as the "Digital AI Services - DAISEI", Mistral platform, Agentic Orchestration & Analytics capability
Carve-Out Strategy & Execution: Define, govern, and execute the comprehensive roadmap to separate and transition dedicated AI and analytics capabilities into an independent infrastructure tailored for the new joint venture.
Architectural & Sovereignty Governance: Partner with Cloud, DevOps, and Cyber Security teams to ensure the carved-out platform architecture adheres to national and European digital sovereignty requirements, secure multi-tenant constraints, and scalable cloud/on-prem environments.
Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical and business point of contact for AI & Analytics capabilities within the BROMO framework, actively driving alignment across Development, Data Science, and Cybersecurity teams.
Cost & Resource Optimization: Drive strategic FinOps initiatives to optimize resource consumption during both the initial service delivery phase and the preparation for the standalone joint venture environment.
Stakeholder Management & Communities of Practice: Represent the organization as a subject matter expert in steering committees and internal forums, influencing best practices for secure, sovereign, and scalable analytical services.

Hard Skills (Technical & Domain Expertise)

1. IT Carve-Out & M&A Separation Strategy
System Migration & Decoupling: Proven ability to separate enterprise IT systems, data pipelines, and infrastructure from legacy parent environments into standalone operational stacks.

2. AI & Analytics Ecosystem Management
IT Service Management (ITSM / ITIL): Capability to define, govern, and maintain SLAs, SLOs, high availability, and service reliability for enterprise-grade analytics services.

3. Digital Sovereignty & Cyber Security Governance
European & National Sovereignty Compliance: Deep familiarity with European digital sovereignty frameworks, data residency requirements, and strict national defense security standards.
Secure Architecture Design: Expertise in governance principles for multi-tenant environments, hybrid cloud/on-prem setups, zero-trust patterns, and restrictive defense-level data protection.

4. Resource Optimization
Financial Management: Proficiency in monitoring, forecasting, and optimizing infrastructure resource consumption and compute costs.

1. Cross-Functional Leadership & Bridge-Building
Interdisciplinary Alignment: Ability to speak the distinct languages of Data Scientists, DevOps Engineers, Cybersecurity leads, and Business Executives to keep teams aligned on unified project goals.

2. Vendor & External Partner Management: Aptitude for navigating relationships with third-party suppliers, joint venture partners, and external technical consultants.

3. Strategic Stakeholder Management & Communication
Executive Presence: Ability to represent the AI & Analytics function in high-stakes steering committees.

4. Persuasive Negotiation: Capability to balance competing priorities across multiple parent companies and new joint venture interests.

5. Change Management & Adaptability
Navigating Ambiguity: High comfort level working in dynamic, evolving organizational structures typical of corporate spin-offs and joint ventures.

6. Resilience Under Pressure: Capacity to maintain service reliability while managing rigid project deadlines and security constraints.

7. Strategic Problem-Solving & Vision
Pragmatic Trade-off Evaluation: Skilled at balancing theoretical architectural perfection with real-world budget, timeline, and security constraints.

Community Building: Capacity to foster a strong Community of Practice around secure, sovereign, and scalable analytical tools across organizational silos.
