We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field to launch their career in a hands-on, collaborative environment. You will support the development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems across multiple domains within the Mission Systems are of digital connectivity

During your placement you will develop in the following areas:

• Assist in the design, development, integration, and testing of systems and subsystems.
• Contribute to requirements definition, traceability, and validation processes.

• Support system architecture development and modeling using tools such as SysML or MBSE platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and project management.

• Assist with system performance analysis and trade studies.

• Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.

• Support documentation efforts including system specifications, test plans, and design reviews.
• Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards.

At Airbus you will work with leading technologies, supporting the design of Defence mission critical systems, designing complex end to end communications systems across the globe. In doing so you will use tools such as:

• MBSE/SYSML
• Pforge/Jira
• DOORs
• Python/Java developments
• C++
• Enterprise Architectures/Cameo
• CAD

What we are looking for?

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

• A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study

Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
