What you will be doing

You will join the Airbus Commercial Electrical Systems Engineering department.

You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Electrical Systems Enginee r and can expect to be involved in the following:

1. support aircraft deliveries, industrial ramp-up and and in service fleet - analyse in service or production events, prepare answers to our customers, and support evolutions of our products

2. preparation of the future of Airbus and contribution to the decarbonation roadmap - integrate our R&T projects to push further electrification of systems as well as propulsion and help us to develop emerging competencies.

3. transverse activities (architecture, power quality, simulation), providing a broad view on the system design and system integration - define system logics, size components , manage interfaces, assess safety compliance, set-up simulation platforms

4. components development, exploring the complete product life cycle - capture requirements and release specifications, follow-up development and qualification with external suppliers, collaborate to physical integration on the aircraft,

You will discover a multicultural and transnational team of dynamic and experienced engineers with the possibility to be integrated in the teams in Toulouse and Getafe.

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Electrical System engineer!

What we are looking for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

- A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study

- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Aeronautics, Electrics/Electronics, Simulation.

- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
