A vacancy for a Buyer has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid)
In close collaboration with the Lead Buyer, the candidate will be responsible for the WP commercial management. Main responsibilities are:
- The jobholder is accountable for contract management for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility.
- The jobholder is accountable for providing the best purchasing conditions for Airbus for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility.
- The jobholder is accountable for delivering the Value Creation projects within his/her scope of activity.
- The jobholder is accountable to deliver the Procurement Plan within his/her scope of responsibilities
RESPONSABILITIES
- Conduct the Buyer activities and support the Multi functional Team by:
- Monitor /manage Contract execution
- Anticipate and mitigate contractual risks
- Evaluate, prepare and send request for purchasing
- Conduct, or contribute to, all projects impacting the contractual terms and conditions for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility, eg: Value Creation projects, Transfer of Work projects, claims or liabilities management.
- Contribute to budget elaboration within her/his scope of activity
Skills- Experience
Given the scope of the position you will be able to work seamlessly with all levels of the business in Airbus Commercial. You will have the following attributes.
- Experience in Procurement
- Teamwork in intercultural environment
- Efficient project management
- Financial key indicators knowledge
- Communication skills
- Negotiation level in English
