Job Description:
An internship opportunity titled : “Development of composite elastomer material characterization” has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the Structures department - Advanced Numerical Simulations team which plays a key role across the lifecycle (Design, Certification and Inservice) of current and future aircraft programmes by developing and deploying state of the art and credible advanced numerical structural simulations.
Your main missions will consist of :
- Characterization of viscoelastic effect and Mullins effect from the test data
Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills
This internship will allow you to develop the following skills:
- Application of FEA for studying complex problems
- Presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills
Your Boarding Pass:
You are pursuing technical Under Graduate or post graduate in Aerospace / Civil / Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
You possess the following competences:
- Technical skills :
- Strong engineering fundamentals including knowledge of structural design and engineering mechanics
- Finite element method / finite element analysis using ABAQUS
- Material modelling fundamentals
- Continuum mechanics fundamentals
- Engineering Mathematics - Tensor algebra
- Good programming skills in python.
- Soft Skills :
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility & adaptability
- Language skills :
- English : Advanced
