A vacancy has arisen in the lines of our A400M MRO in Airbus Defence & Space, San Pablo (Sevilla)

About the Role:

Airbus is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our A400M MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the successful industrialization, planning, and execution of maintenance operations for one of the most advanced military transport aircraft in the world - the A400M.

You will work cross-functionally across engineering, operations, customer services, and finance to support maintenance events, service bulletin implementation, and aircraft upgrades at both Airbus and customer sites worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Industrialize A400M Maintenance Tasks and Service Bulletins: Transform engineering requirements into executable maintenance tasks and work packages.
  • Configuration Control of In-Service Aircraft: Monitor and manage the configuration status of the A400M fleet, ensuring traceability and consistency across all platforms.
  • Maintenance Event Preparation: Plan and prepare A400M maintenance activities at customer bases and Airbus facilities, coordinating resources, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Service Bulletin Scrutiny and Concurrence: Review and assess service bulletins for their feasibility, impact, and applicability to customer aircraft, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Support Business Development: Analyze and prepare technical and commercial proposals for A400M conversions, retrofits, and capability enhancements.
  • Financial & Operational Planning: Contribute to the financial evaluation, cost analysis, and strategic planning of maintenance events across the global A400M MRO organization for EAC.

SKILLS

  • A degree in Aerospace, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrialization, or MRO within the aerospace sector.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance operations, service bulletins, and configuration management.
  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
  • Advance level in English (German or French would be an asset)
  • Team working and collaborative mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in financial planning or cost analysis preferred.
