A400M Flight Ops Services Engineer

Job Summary

As an A400M Flight Ops Services Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of the A400M aircraft fleet. You will be in charge of develop and deliver Flight Operations Services for all our A400M customers, with the support of a great team, including among others, technical support to customers regarding flight operations, flight performance, and mission planning, delivering Aerodata products such as NavDB and terrain databases, playing a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and mission effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

*Business Development activities: Design, develop, integrate and deliver on time, on cost and on quality new Flight Operations Services required by all Military Aircraft Customers to operate efficiently and safely their Airbus Defense and Space aircrafts, supporting to increase the sales of the company.

*Manage technically all the associated resources (internal and subcontracted workpackages) allocated to TASTO Flight Operations Services worldwide.

*OTQC provision of all the services contracted by customers (i.e. customer queries resolution, products deliveries...).

*Establish, lead and manage the requested collaboration with internal departments (i.e. Service Programme Managers, Procurement, Legal, Design Offices, other Airbus SAS departments ...) to define/develop and operate the associated Flight Operations Services.

*Develop and implement the Projects Management Plans, for Flight Operations Services, defining the required work packages in terms of scope, quality requirements, target costs and timescales, to meet the Programs requirements and the applicable quality and regulatory standards. o Sets tasks, budgets and timescales for each deliverable o Develop, maintain & Implement action plans and priorities o Define and monitor regularly the projects’ KPI to properly track projects’ performance.

*Manage the right balance between cost and quality for each product, to ensure that the cost-targets are always met to the satisfaction of the Program requirements.

*Manage the risks to the projects’ successful outcome: Identify Programs Risks and define and implement Risks Mitigations plans.

*Technical management of many different external providers (i.e. Boeing-Jeppesen, Airbus Navblue, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Thales, General Electric, etc.).

*Manage and lead customer relations on Flight Operations services, products and offers.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in project management in TAS or similar.
* Strong understanding of Airbus organization
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain value propositions and services to diverse audiences.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to business develoment techniques.
* Experience with A400M aircraft or similar military transport aircraft is a significant advantage.
* Willingness to travel internationally for customer support, training, and operational engagements.
