Airbus Helicopters needs to reinforce the resource and competency on Manufacturing Engineering for Elementary Parts and is looking for 3DX Manufacturing Engineering Processes Specialist (m/f/d) to lead the activities to define, develop and support new Methods on 3DX platform for new helicopters programs.

You will be part of the Operations directorate and in the Methods and Tools team for Manufacturing Execution.

The team is leading the digitalization of Airbus Helicopters Operations by providing efficient Methods and Tools to all stakeholders of Airbus Helicopters Assembly and Manufacturing Shopfloors (Blue Collars, Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineering, ...) to perform their daily activities.

As a Business Methods Engineer specialized in Manufacturing Execution you will have to:

  • Build or contribute to a strategic vision and roadmap of processes, methods and tools and data for Operations
  • Develop, deploy, continuously enhance and support the end-to-end applicable process, methods & tools framework, data and associated business Information System to enable operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence of the Operations community to processes and tools
  • Provide expertise to and support Operations operators on processes, methods & tools, data.
  • Create, maintain or provide support documentation
  • Create or contribute to the creation of training material and perform awareness sessions.
  • Perform change management within the Operations community
  • Lead or support cross-functional and/or multi-sites and/or transnational business continuity/continuous improvement projects as part of the Process/Methods&Tools/data analytics roadmap in Agile Safe or Waterfall methodology
  • Be the interface to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and other Method & tools domain of other directorates ( as f.e. Engineering, Quality, ...)
  • Support Audits and ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Provide or support cost improvement actions: analyze possibilities, create concepts and propose technical solutions
  • Develop the Operations Process, Methods & Tools, Datas competencies, knowledge and community of practice
  • Define and implement myCES applicable processes
  • Manage and develop outsourced/subcontracted activities (Work specifications, follow-up of deliverables, etc.)
  • Take over the role of the data officer, data custodian, manage Process/Methods &Tools for data analytics and data quality for Operations

You will work in a transnational team (Germany and France).

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • Engineering Diploma or Master degree
  • High experience (~10 years) on PLM development, deployment and support in the Industry on Manufacturing Engineering activities
  • Knowledge of Machining, Composite, Sheet Metal processes
  • Expert in 3DX, CATIA, DELMIA
  • Knowledge of a MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
  • Project Management skills (Waterfall and Agile methodology)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to understand end users needs and translate them in clear requirements
  • Work in a transnational environment
  • English and French fluent
