At Adaptavist Greece, we’re always looking for talented professionals to join our Service Management Practice Team as Technical Consultants at different levels. While we don’t have an active opening right now, this is a role we hire for regularly, and we’d love to connect with you in advance of the next opportunity. As a Technical Consultant, you will:
Collaborate with the team in implementing and configuring Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) for client projects, based on ITIL Best practices. Collaborate with clients to gather client requirements and design solutions that align with their business objectives. Act as a feedback channel to internal teams, offering actionable insights and recommendations based on customer interactions. Gain operational and configuration-level expertise in the Atlassian products you’ll manage..This hybrid role will require some presence in our Athens office, and you’ll report directly to one of our Greece-based Service Management Practice Team Leads.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Understand business and customer needs and translate them into technical requirements / product configuration. Undertake part or whole of the delivery, in collaboration with other members of the delivery team. Deliver tool or product-oriented training (both in-class and on-the-job).Participate in all internal processes of the project and the team including project planning, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Add new or enhance existing documentation and update the ticketing system with client needs, meeting notes, project progress, deliveries, impediments etc. Participate in internal analysis teams, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute with ideas and questions. Communicate with clients in case of incidents during deployment, responding to questions and offering clarifications as necessary. Communicate effectively with clients regarding incidents, questions and clarifications as necessary Remain up to date on all Adaptavist products, including new features, changes on offerings, etc., and is fluent in describing those, understands how customer needs can be covered Use knowledge of Atlassian products to gather and analyse requirements, research and present solutions to clients, and make suitable recommendationsCommunicate regularly with a range of stakeholders (internal & external) Visit client sites and work on site where necessary
Person SpecificationRole-specific skills, knowledge and experience
Essential
English and Greek language proficiencyExperience working with customers in a consulting or technical capacity, especially in the software/IT industry.Workflow systems, troubleshooting, defect tracking systems, and business process management. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to successfully interact with external and internal parties via phone, video conferences, presentations, and written content.Interest in working creatively with customers, understanding technical and business requirements and implementing solutions.A team player with high level of dedication and collaboration spiritAbility to work under strict deadlines


Desirable
Experience administering Atlassian products. Experience working with Agile MethodologyExperience in critical systems for large end-user communitiesExperience in IT service management ITIL certification - Atlassian Certifications
