About the team
You will be joining Adaptavist's research team which is composed of four members globally. This team works as a service within Adaptavist through the UX Research Service Desk. Their mission is to help product teams build the right products and make sure that they are useful and usable. This team also helps Adaptavist become more customer-centric, synthesising customer insights to inform business decisions, product development and ensuring that our product line fits customers' needs.

About the role
The Senior Market Researcher will be part of a core Research Team that helps the organisation make informed decisions by identifying new market opportunities, evaluating products' market position against their competitors, and finding the most effective methods to market products.
As the Senior Market Researcher, you will be either primarily responsible for collecting, analysing and presenting quantitative and qualitative research or acting as a consultant to guide the research process, from planning to delivering insights. You will also participate in identifying new market opportunities, to diversify Adaptavist's product portfolio and customer base segmentation to aid messaging and pricing strategies.

What you'll be doing
- Meet with product teams and gather requirements, what research they think needs to be done vs what is actually needed- Define business problems- Plan research activities in agreement with product teams- Carry out research activities such as assessing market potential and messaging effectiveness, customer segmentation, pricing studies, or demand experiments- Use a variety of research methods such as surveys, user interviews or focus groups, among others- Analyse qual & quant data- Recruit participants for research activities- Conducting workshops with stakeholders- Present findings to stakeholders- Promote research maturity through individual and collective engagements

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience conducting marketing and customer insights research (which must include: pricing, customer segmentation and market feasibility studies)
  • Experience with market entry reports, calculating total addressable market and market segmentations
  • Great communicative skills
  • Ability to take and give feedback
  • Tech savvy

A few nice to haves:

  • Knowledge about statistical methods and packages
  • Experience within a fast-paced tech environment
  • Experience working with SAAS products
  • Experience coding or scripting (any language)
