Our Account Management team…
As an Account Manager at TAG, you will be the primary relationship owner of a group of customer accounts, responsible for retention and growth within that account portfolio. You will focus on growth and retention while providing insights of your accounts to the Adaptavist Group. Your account activities will support initiatives across multiple departments including marketing, licensing, and business development.
This is a dynamic role that requires in-depth knowledge and working experience in account management, as well as proven business partnering capability to ensure a world-class customer experience. If this is something you are passionate about, this could be the perfect opportunity!
What you’ll be doing

Account Management

  • Develop yearly account plans to assist in budgeting and setting KPIs.
  • Execute tactical actions to support account plan outcomes and KPI achievement.
  • Prepare and deliver customer KPI reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct value-added business reviews to ensure key account retention and satisfaction.
  • Maintain trusted advisor status through consultative sales conversations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key account issues, escalations, and requests.

Sales

  • Maintain a healthy sales funnel and pipeline within existing accounts to grow share of wallet.
  • Conduct thorough needs discoveries to shape problem statements addressing customer challenges.
  • Deliver strong value propositions to maximize sales revenue.
  • Identify key decision-makers and involve them in relevant discussions.

Collaboration

  • Build relationships with account influencers through social engagements.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop expansion strategies.
  • Engage internal resources to proactively solve sales obstacles and customer challenges.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a comparable account management role.
  • Skilled in building rapport, client trust, and developing long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment as well as individually.
  • Proactive, persuasive, and energetic personality.
  • Strong communication skills and confident in working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable in ecosystems like Atlassian, GitLab, and monday.com.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth tech environment.
