The role
As Project Manager you’ll be responsible for the successful delivery of software projects:
- Managing multiple projects concurrently
- Facilitating the clarification and communication of project requirements, objectives and priorities.
- Ensure a successful delivery by working together with the customers, Product Managers and key stakeholders.
- Leading the development team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct estimation and planning workshops.
- Creating and managing overall project, release and sprint plans
- Managing the project scope and budget, aligned to commercial agreements
- Managing changes to scope/requirements and reporting project status to customers and 15below stakeholders
- Engaging problem-solving skills to identify risk and issues, take mitigating actions and remove project obstacles
- Creating and maintaining project documentation to ensure appropriate audit trails exist
- Ensuring sustainable product design and implementation in line with best practice, relevant standards and technological developments by facilitating cross-team collaboration
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative software that truly delivers business value
- Coordinating the transition to Support from the Project team following successful project delivery
- Creating and maintaining product support documentation including administrative, technical, and end-user system documentation
- Escalating project issues appropriately
- Performing end of project reviews capturing and applying the learning
- Providing feedback on the performance of project teams to relevant team leads
- Leading and motivating the project members to deliver against the stated objectives
Requirements
The kind of person you are
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B enterprise software project management
- Proven track record of managing and implementing software projects
- Excellent leadership skills to ensure the team deliver to time and budget exceeding customer expectations. Accountable for successful project delivery
- Have the aspiration and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Collaborates effectively with other disciplines, including Product Managers, Customer stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers and QA
- Are able and willing to travel as required
- Recognised Project Management Qualification (PRINCE II, Agile Project Management)
- Experience in an agile environment
- Have a strong commercial understanding of project delivery.
- Experience with project budget management and associated reporting. Applying change management processes for scope adjustments to ensure projects are delivered within budgets.
- Strong leadership and scope negotiation skills.
- Running projects with a structured risk and governance framework
Skills to impress
- Working with a global customer base
- Airline/travel industry experience including reservation systems/GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre or Navitaire)
- BSc/BA in a business or technical discipline or equivalent
- Certified SCRUM Master
- Experience working with third-party APIs and web service interfaces
- Experience of messaging systems
- Technical writing skills
- Experience with Change Management processes

Location: We are offering truly flexible working options so you can decide whether you want to work from home, from our central Brighton office or a bit of both (within the UK).
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
