About the role
The Digital Change Journey involves designing, implementing and ensuring the adoption of change across Digital to ensure that it becomes and enabler of BT driving change across both the ‘What’ and the ‘How’. The Digital Change process design and improvement specialist will lead initiatives to review, improve and design processes to drive effectiveness in execution and ensure it is easy to get things done.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead process improvement projects, bringing together cross-functional teams capitalising on opportunities and achieving targeted performance improvements
- Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in Process Design & Improvement
- Ensures the identification and assessment of new process improvement and transformation opportunities, partnering with process owners and stakeholders to scope opportunities, define problem statements and objectives, and structure projects and teams
- Participates in projects through planning, execution, engagement, documentation, and monitoring of project/programme work
- Executes testing of processes against agreed specifications, corporate standards, architecture and methods, and makes recommendations for process/procedural improvement
- Identify and remove obstacles to deliver transformation objectives, using escalation paths where necessary
- Role model the BT behaviours and being an active advocate and champion of the Digital cultural change activity
Essential Skills / Experience
- Process design and improvement expertise - 2 to 5 years experience of, process management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building
- Communication: strong presentation and communication skills; able to translate complex topics into simple and meaningful messages
- Collaboration: ability to work successfully in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Project management: Handles a project or portfolio of projects as they progress through the typical stages of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution and closure
