You'll have clear responsibilities and the support of your team when you need it, there's no micromanagement or someone constantly checking in. If you need detailed daily direction or prefer someone else making decisions for you, you may find our autonomous approach challenging.

You manage your own schedule and priorities, but that means being reliable when VAs and clients need you.

💬 Our Slack community is active and engaging
We use Slack extensively to stay connected across the business. You'll be supporting VAs and collaborating with teammates throughout the day. If you prefer complete isolation or find regular communication overwhelming, the collaborative nature of our work might not suit you.

🌊 Workload ebbs and flows
Some periods are busier than others, whether it's handling client queries, supporting VAs through challenges, or recruiting during growth phases. You'll need to be comfortable with this natural rhythm rather than expecting identical tasks and intensity every week.

🔄 Variety is the norm
You might be onboarding a new VA one day, troubleshooting a client issue the next, and refining processes the day after. If you prefer doing exactly the same tasks in exactly the same way every day, the diverse nature of supporting both VAs and clients may feel unsettling.

Flexible working at Virtalent HQ

We're 100% remote and have been since day one, right back in 2018. Our team are all UK-based and work from home with a dedicated work setup. We have core working hours each weekday to ensure we're available when VAs and clients need us, but how you structure your day within and around those hours is up to you. Need to take a mid-afternoon break? Start slightly earlier or finish slightly later to suit your rhythm? Go for it. As long as you're responsive during core hours, reliable, and delivering great work, how you manage your time is entirely up to you.
