Who are we?
Search Seven is a remote-first Digital Marketing agency that was founded back in 2011 in Brighton & Hove specialising in Search Marketing; specifically Paid Media and SEO. Within Paid Media we focus on Google & Microsoft Search Ads, as well as Paid Social too via Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and any other social platform that would be of a benefit to our clients too! Within SEO we cover onsite, offsite and technical SEO, with a focus on content, analytics, technical audits, UX, CRO and ongoing consultancy.
We still call Brighton our home, but since 2021 we switched to a remote-first way of working and we now have amazing team members based in Sussex, Kent, London & Stafford. We love to all come together and enjoy social events at least once every month. This includes taking on the Crystal Maze as a team in London, having fun at Alton Towers in Stoke-on-Trent, trying to get some holes-in-one playing Mini Golf on the Brighton beachfront, or simply enjoying some excellent food and drink together at beautiful venues in Kent. A strong, positive culture is a huge focus for us & being remote workers, it’s more important than ever to ensure we all get out and have fun to reward ourselves for all the hard work!
Why ‘Search Seven’?
Search is obviously part of what we do, but why ‘Seven’? Well, we pledge to give back up to 7% of our profits to charity each and every year via our S7 fundraising events & direct donations. This was a pledge our founder; Gavin Willis, promised to make upon starting up the company so to become part of everything Search Seven stood for – to be different from other agencies & to give back. We’ve always put purpose before profit in everything we do, ever since.

Flexible working is core to how we operate at Search Seven. Devised & led by our Managing Director; Dave Hatton, our culture is built on our 'F.A.C.T.S'! This stands for Freedom, Autonomy, Communication, Trust and Service.
As a fully remote agency we trust our people to work where they work best to deliver outstanding client service. Our team have the freedom and autonomy to manage their workload. As individuals we all have our own preferences on when in the day we can work best and as long as our team is delivering we trust them to do this.
