2022About us
We set Faculty up in 2014 because we thought that AI would be the most important technology of our time.
Our sole purpose is to make it useful to the world. We do that by helping our clients access the most cutting edge AI, and use it to improve the performance of their business.
That’s all we’ve ever done. No chasing hype cycles. Just AI. We take it very seriously.
We've done a lot of it over the years. We've worked with hundreds of organisations, from right across the economy and right across the globe.
We’re very proud of this track record. We feel very privileged to have supported some of the most important organisations in the world, to grapple with the big challenges of our age.
We care deeply about the impact of our work. That’s what motivates us above all.
Flexible working at Faculty AI
We trust that our team know where and how they can get the job done. Whether you’d like to come into our beautiful office or work remotely from home, a café, or (maybe on occasion) sat in front of a beautiful beach, we want to support you to be in the best working environment for you.
A lot of our team come into our offices 2 days per week but we recognise that due to our nature of work, we can spend a lot of time on our client sites so this needs to be considered too.
Approach to diversity & inclusion
At Faculty, we welcome people from all backgrounds. We have a number of voluntary, employee-led networks, that are typically participated in and led by individuals who share a view or characteristic; whether its gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, lifestyle, or a particular interest. Examples of these are:
- Womens Network where the purpose is to be an open and safe space for women to connect with other women in the business, seek advice and provide opportunities to support each other. It's a place where people of any gender can learn how to best be advocates for women and underrepresented genders, identifying higher level issues and working with decision makers to create positive change.
- Neurodiversity network which, again, is an open and safe space for people to connect and learn more about neurodiversity in the workplace.
Faculty has also recently launched a Gender Diversity Working Group - this group looks at internal data, trends and survey results to consider things associated to the proactive recruitment for diversity and around retaining women in the workplace. The group is committed to being transparent with the business regarding our progress and future plans.
