1–2 days/week at home
A little flex time
The FlexScore® is the result of a rigorous 2-step verification of a company’s flexibility
First we assess the flexibility options Aktuel Translations provides and then we anonymously survey a statistically significant proportion of their employees to make sure Aktuel Translations is as flexible as they say they are. Our assessment is based on the six key elements of flexibility: location, hours, autonomy, benefits, role modelling and work-life balance.
We ask the hard questions so you don’t have to.

Working at Aktuel Translations
Gender diversity (male:female)
Over the last 25 years we have built a network of more than 4,000 technical translators around the world. Our translators are individually-selected native speakers of the languages that we translate into.
As of 2020, we can provide technical translation between more than 150 languages. At its core, Aktuel Translations remains a classic translation agency with old-fashioned standards of fair pricing and traditional standards of rigour.
Flexible working at Aktuel Translations
Aktuel Translations is a flexible employer and we give our employees the freedom to find a way of working that works for them. Most employees will split their time between their home and the office based in Henley, typically working from home 1-2 days per week. And did we mention that we are a dog friendly office?
What do we think of Aktuel Translations?
Aktuel Translations have long been advocates of flexible working, but have recently taken this to the next level by giving their employees the opportunity to work on their own terms. The business has been around since 1992, and has become one of the leaders in the translations market.
