What you’ll be doing...
The Telecom Program Manager maintains an overarching client relationship for assigned State of California government accounts (both proactive and reactive). The role of the Program Manager is to present a locally accessible, knowledgeable and empowered point of contact to designated state of California customers for the duration of the program. The Program Manager is the primary point of contact between the Verizon Account and Support teams and the customer, ensuring that all deliverables and program requirements are met, The Program Manager will establish and maintain constant and successful internal Verizon and external customer communications throughout the duration of the program life cycle. This role must become knowledgeable of the contract and associated telecommunications services offered in the contract and all billing requirements. This role will need to work sales and other partnering organizations to ensure accurate quotes and order information which are key to accurate and contractually compliant billing.
In this role, you will...
Act as the key service advocate for the service program and client financial aspects of the contract.
Manage the governance of quote to revenue process, following contractual compliance.
Maintain reporting and financial governance for assigned accounts (Proactive/Reactive).
Maintain customer relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Partner with internal and customer stakeholders on project related work.
Attend all project related calls for service delivery.
Take responsibility for customer enablement
Conduct internal and customer reviews monthly and quarterly.
Act as a point of escalation as needed.
Report on customer SLA and Service Delivery KPI management.

This role requires positive interpersonal relationship management capability, ability to follow through with deliverables, and attention to detail. Additionally, this role will need someone with customer service experience and a proven ability to multitask competing priorities.
You’ll need to have...
Four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Three or more years of experience with telecommunications
Three or more years of customer-facing telecommunications billing and account services experience
Even better if you also have...
A Degree.
Knowledge of Verizon billing systems.
Experience working with government contracts.
Knowledge of telecommunications services.
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $78,000.00 and $144,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
