The Revenue Assurance Organization
At Verizon, we have a world-class Revenue Assurance (RA) organization. We have proven comprehensive programs to streamline processes, improve systems, realign the organization and add opportunities for personal skill building and professional growth. Revenue Assurance Team
Reshaping the future of RA at Verizon, calls for improving our ability to deliver outstanding value to our customers. You will be involved in audits, audit development, project support, reporting and analysis, and guiding the strategic direction across Verizon. You invest strategically, manage and allocate Verizon’s assets wisely and drive shareholder value.
Leads a team of staff responsible for ensuring end-to-end, robust controls are in place and administered for assigned Verizon order to cash processes.
Provides guidance to the staff who define, implement, and execute audits and controls.
Ensures work gets completed according to Sarbanes Oxley compliance, expected timelines and processes are in place to ensure accuracy.
Ensure new products or process changes are appropriately evaluated, and audit & control solutions defined and implemented to ensure accuracy.
Verifies process documentation is complete and kept current.
Assists analysts if they are uncertain of the process to follow for more complex scenarios.
Creates reporting that allows for proper workload leveling to be achieved and realign work between resources, as need.
Tracks results and reports them to management on a consistent basis.
Provides support to the staff, by escalating issues needing to be resolved.
Rolls out and trains staff on new processes.
Leads the team by being a role model, identifies opportunities allowing for employee growth and assists the team in achieving all goals.
Provides consistent feedback to staff regarding performance and recognizes them for a job well done.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Four or more years of experience in Finance Operations.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry.
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
Experience managing a team in an office environment.
Excellent communications (written and oral) and presentation skills and proven ability to focus on the details.
Proven analytical skills.
Knowledge of the Verizon’s order to cash process and flows.
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with Smartsheets and Gmail.
SQL experience.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Demonstrated experience working cross functionally.

Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
