What you’ll be doing...
As a Senior Engineer Specialist – Regulatory/Real Estate, you will be responsible for managing initial cell build and existing cell site modification projects from search ring to construction hand-off. Major milestones that you will be responsible for managing include: site candidate selection, site plan/drawing preparation, land title due-diligence, environmental due-diligence, lease negotiation/execution, local zoning approvals, federal regulatory approvals (NEPA/NHPA), utility coordination, and permitting. You will manage a team of site acquisition, Architectural & Engineering (A&E), legal, and environmental consultants in order to accomplish your goals.
Maintaining a centralized project management database for the accurate reporting, forecasting and tracking of project progress.
Analyzing potential site locations and then creating business cases for site acquisition.
Analyzing, interpreting, and providing strategy to address relevant government regulations.
Managing vendors/consultants and purchasing during the regulatory/real estate process.
Interfacing with stakeholders like landlords, government employees, community officials and legal counsel.
Evaluating network projects proposed by submarket teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Obtaining and tracking any and all necessary construction related permits.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience working with U.S. land-use regulations and local codes, real estate/title transactions, and federal telecommunications policy.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A degree in engineering, land use planning, environmental science, or real estate.
Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well wireless telecommunication networks.

Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $74,000.00 and $138,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
