What you’ll be doing...

As a Software Development Specialist , you will be responsible for analyzing the requirements, assessing test coverage, defining and executing test scenarios in a timely manner and delivering a high quality product.
You will also be responsible for complete UI automation of the test cases using Selenium / Tosca/Tapsium tools. You will collaborate with teams to deliver strategic programs in performing/establishing end to end testing
Working as an individual cum with a team of quality engineers and with partners like Developers, SME, Architects and Business Analysts on test activities and deliverables.

  • Defining test scenarios, test cases, execution of tests, publishing test reports for given set of requirements.​

  • Owning and delivering modules of programs independently.

  • Contributing towards automation using standard test automation tools for the respective area of work.

  • Leveraging the testing life cycles tools, DevOps/Agile tools for day-to-day operations, status reporting and to collaborate with other partners.

  • Participate in requirements meetings / Grooming calls, understand the changes and should do impact assessment and prepare test cases / scenarios for the assigned deliverable.

  • Automate the test execution and identify the defects through automation.

  • Should understand the org KPIs (Progression automation, automation efficiency, regression automation, CI/CD etc) and diligently follow and accomplish the targets defined.

  • Work closely with Dev partners both onshore / offshore and close the action items.

  • Provide daily status on the work progress and attend all the ceremonies and calls with the US team as needed / scheduled.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or two or more years of work experience.

  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Two or more years of relevant work experience as an Automation & Quality Assurance Tester performing automation, functional & End To End testing.

  • Two or more years of hand-on experience in UI automation using Selenium / Tosca.

  • Experience with automating Services/API testing.

  • Experience with Mobile automation

  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD pipeline, DevOps Tool chain (Jenkin, QTest, JIRA, GIT).

  • Experience in SDLC practices and methodologies – Agile, Safe Agile.

  • Knowledge in flow based automation and should keep track of all defects resulting from testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are resolved on time.

  • Knowledge on Database (Oracle, Cassandra) and should be able to write SQLs and Procedures for testing needs.

  • Experience on testing principles, applying different testing techniques to deliver a high quality product.

  • Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Two or more years of experience as an Automation & Quality Assurance Tester performing automation, functional & End To End testing. App automation using Appium, Headspin

  • Experience on Database testing.

  • Experience with No SQL databases (e.g. Mongo).

  • Experience with automating Services/API testing.

  • Knowledge for Bill Cycles and validations.

  • Ability to solve problems along with good verbal and written communication skills.
