What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior Solutions Architect for the Verizon Consumer Group (VCG) Marketing Personalization team, you’ll be responsible for driving continuous innovation in our marketing communications platforms. Partnering with our business and IT teams, you’ll develop and ensure the proper implementation of business requirements that enable next-generation capabilities for cross-vehicle orchestration for more than 10 billion highly personalized communications delivered to our customers each year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading creation of business and technology requirements, and establish prioritization for the development and enhancement of communication platform capabilities.

  • Hands-on participation in solution development through coding applications, scripting automation processes, and configuration of third-party platforms.

  • Driving personalization of marketing campaigns by leveraging audience management platforms, AI, ML, modeling and real time decisioning.

  • Conceptualize design, develop, and implement solutions for complex systems/programs independently across communications and marketing technologies.

  • Creating and executing test plans to ensure datasets and applications meet business needs.

  • Partnering cross-functionally / with 3rd party solutions partners to develop foundational capabilities that drive next-generation communications journeys orchestration.

  • In partnership with IT and business teams, developing custom solutions that leverage Verizon’s Martech stack and core infrastructure to deliver highly personalized customer communications.

  • Defining and managing cross-platform integration points and associated processes.

  • Integrating 3rd party and in-house testing & optimization solutions with the current Martech stack to facilitate champion/challenger and multivariate testing.

  • Ensuring solutions produce measurable results that align to business priorities and KPIs.

What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Technical expertise in developing marketing technology solutions using Adobe Experience Cloud products like Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Analytics.

  • Experience in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python or .NET).

  • Experience with and knowledge of SQL, ETL, and data transformations.

  • Experience in leveraging real time events to trigger personalized customer journeys.

  • Experience in architecting API-based workflows that integrate enterprise tech stacks.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Design, Management Information Systems, or a related IT or technology field.

  • MBA or other Master’s degree.

  • Experience with solution design, development and technical consulting through collaboration between business and IT teams.

  • Knowledge of campaign performance analysis to drive continuous improvement.

  • High degree of independence and resourcefulness – ability to balance multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities and meet deliverable dates independently.

  • Experience with HTML and CSS implementation for emails.

  • Knowledge of encryption, data security, and customer privacy regulations.

  • Experience with lifecycle and/or customer-facing marketing programs.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
