What you’ll be doing...

At Verizon, we are reimagining IoT with 5G. Verizon Business Group is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive and build product strategy around 5G with a special focus on global IoT Connectivity with international roaming and eSIM localization.

• Working with the IoT connectivity, product technology teams, and global roaming teams to define product roadmaps.

• Interfacing with existing and new IoT customers using our ThingSpace platform to provision, manage and automate devices, connectivity, and other managed services.

• Working closely with product management, product marketing, and other cross-functional marketing stakeholders to define and execute the positioning, messaging, and all marketing activities.

• Working with partners to accelerate intelligent IoT solutions in providing value-added benefits for enterprise customers will be part of this position.

• Building new IoT product features that leverage the advanced network capabilities and translating them as customer-facing platform features.

• Delivering and maintaining a strategic view of network technologies tied to business value and growth opportunities in IoT verticals.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Six or more years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product management/development, with cross-functional team and cross-discipline execution.

• Experience working in 4G or 5G core network technology with strong technical and business acumen.

• Experience in building and executing product-led growth strategy and planning at a global scale.

• Experience with product lifecycles in global IoT connectivity including but not limited to cellular and satellite.

• Experience working in GSMA Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) with solid knowledge of eSIM/iSIM and/or eUICC.

​Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A bachelor’s or Master's degree in a technical field (E.g., computer science, engineering, etc.) or MBA.

• Knowledge of or experience in working with international tax and regulatory domains.

• Strong knowledge in interfacing with 5G Network elements and 5G specifications.

• Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, telecoms, and IoT business models.

• Knowledge of Private Wireless Network, Private APNs, Device Management, and ETSI standards.

• Familiar with IoT technologies and other information security disciplines such as mobile security, cloud security, and IoT security.

• Strong communication skills to manage the large degree of external interaction with customers and partners the role needs.

• Ability to take ownership and be accountable for the quality of all deliverables.

• Ability to support multiple projects and perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration, resources, and scheduling.

• Generally considered an industry expert amongst internal and external peer groups.

• Comfortable working with both technical and business communities.

• Self-starter, closer, highly-accountable, resourceful, and result-oriented.

• Able to demonstrate complex problem-solving skills in business, marketing, product, and technology.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong logical, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
