What you’ll be doing…

We are looking for Business Intelligence Lead with Hands-On Experience and ability to design, develop and deliver strategic data-centric insights leveraging the next generation analytics and BI technologies. We want someone who is data-centric and insight-centric, less report centric.

You will be primarily responsible for the following activities but not just limited to these

• Design, develop, and test moderate to complex reports, dashboards and visualizations using a variety of tools, which include Qlik Sense, Looker, Tableau, SQL, Stored Procedures and Functions in Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Leverage established guidelines and custom designs to create complex formulas and calculations to meet the needs of the business.

• Contribute to the definition and development of the overall reporting roadmap.

• Translate reporting requirements into reporting models, visualizations and reports by having a strong understanding of the enterprise architecture.

• Standardize reporting that helps generate efficiencies, optimization and end user standards.

• Work with minimal guidance to meet or exceed the User expectations by designing effective and maintainable solutions that meet reliability, accuracy and performance standards based on gathered requirements.

• Integrate dashboards and reports from a variety of sources, assuring that they adhere to data quality, usability and business rule standards.

• Determine methods and procedures on new or existing requirements and functionality with little to no guidance.

• Work closely with analysts and data engineers to identify opportunities and assess improvements of our products and services.

• Collaborate with various data providers to resolve dashboard, reporting and data related issues.

• Perform Data Services reporting benchmarking, enhancements, optimizations, and platform analytics.

• Develop from strategic and non-strategic data sources including data preparation/ETL and modeling for data visualizations in a self-service platform.

• Participate in the research, development, and adoption of trends in reporting and analytics.

• Experience in developing human centric designs.

• Should be able to drive a “center of excellence” for business intelligence

• Should be able to drive teams putting innovation at the top of deliverables

• Should be able to do customizations in Qlik sense

• Good exposure to mash ups, widgets, custom themes, custom connectors, extensions in Qlik sense

• Hands on experience in advanced modeling techniques in business intelligence

• Should be able to establish best practices and standard frameworks for reporting

What we’re looking for..

We are looking for Business Intelligence Lead with Hands-On Experience and ability to design, develop and deliver strategic data-centric insights leveraging the next generation analytics and BI technologies. We want someone who is data-centric and insight-centric, less report centric.

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.

• Six or more years of total IT experience required, including experience with gathering & analyzing user requirements required

• Five years of working in the field of analytics required

• Three or more years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions required

• Three or more years of experience with MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL required

• Three or more years with visual data analysis using tools such as Looker, Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense or other Business Intelligence platforms required

• Well versed with Agile Development Methodologies

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Data driven decision making mindset

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects with tight deadlines and aggressive goals

• Advanced to Expert working knowledge of SQL and demonstrated ability to create ad-hoc SQL queries to analyze data, create prototypes, etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following…

• Knowledge on Finance/ Supply Chain domain

• Certification on reporting tools preferably Qlik sense or Looker

• Experience in analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and data

• Experience with data quality and performance tuning

• Experience with data preparation and modeling in Informatica or any other ETL tool is a plus.

• Experience with public or hybrid cloud environments are a plus.

• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Scala, Sqoop, Hadoop etc., are a plus.
