What you will be doing:
- Understand existing ecosystem, Implement features, functions, and enhancements
- Designing, developing and maintaining software system by evaluating and analyzing the product requirements.
- Translating designs into high quality code, writing unit tests and release to production
- Follow and improve process, including the code review
- Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines and adapting to an agile environment
- Acting independently and displaying the excellent collaboration within and between various teams
- Understanding the underlying domain and build domain knowledge.
- Building the reusable code and libraries for future use.
What we are looking for…
The Candidate should be a strong team Player, should be able to execute tasks in a team that develops high quality software under aggressive release schedules.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Experience in developing software products.
- Good knowledge of data structures and Algorithms.
- Hands-on experience in Core Java, J2EE technologies
- Experience with Spring and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)
- Experience with Java web services, SOAP and REST API.
- Demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and their application for building scalable, supportable systems
- Experience in Designing and developing APIs.
- Good networking knowledge and good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP protocols.
- Experience in one or more NOSQL databases such as Couchbase/Redis/MongoDB.
- Experience in one or more relational databases such as MySQL/Postgres/Oracle .
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge/Exposure/Expertise in AWS Services, Kubernetes considered a plus.
- Knowledge/Exposure/Expertise in micro services, containerization considered a plus.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Test Methodologies.
- Good listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
