What you’ll be doing...

The Selection & Assessment Consultant will be responsible for consultation and project leadership within our prehire assessments and interviewing team. In this role, you will evaluate and develop selection solutions, perform assessment and interview design, statistical validation, job analysis and competency modeling, support field logistics, and ensure legal compliance of selection practices. You will build relationships with the recruiting team, hiring managers, assessment vendors, and labor relations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting job analysis, including planning and conducting focus groups, designing and administering job analysis surveys, and developing technical reports.

  • Managing the review, development, validation, and implementation of interview guides, role play exercises, work samples, and knowledge tests.

  • Maximizing the business value of assessments through management of concurrent and predictive validation studies.

  • Overseeing the strategy and operations of assessment programs, such as language testing.

  • Building and leveraging deep knowledge of the digital interviewing system to build and maintain interview guides and troubleshoot common issues.

  • Serving as an expert resource for questions regarding employment testing considerations.

  • Proactively consulting with legal, compliance, and accommodations teams to ensure compliance with OFCCP and employment regulations.

  • Designing and delivering assessment and interview-related training to end users.

  • Managing the tracking of assessment related data and information.

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for streamlining and automation of processes to drive efficiency.

  • Owning the research and resolution of systemic technical issues regarding assessments and interviews.

  • Partnering with external vendors to manage assessment and interview related changes.

  • Researching new assessment and interview technology vendors and industry trends.

This is a homebased position.

You communicate complex and technical information in ways that people understand.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Talent assessment and selection experience.

  • Consulting experience and/or experience with managing vendors.

  • Experience working with an applicant tracking system.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Advanced degree in industrial/organizational psychology.

  • Strong understanding of the selection field and related processes, tools, techniques and validation practices.

  • Experience using Workday.

  • Created and implemented large scale talent selection initiatives.

  • Experience creating and delivering executive presentations on relevant topics.

  • Experience with SIOP, APA Standards, Uniform Guidelines, OFCCP.

  • Proficiency in SPSS, Excel, SAS or other statistical packages.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $78,000.00 and $146,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
