What you’ll be doing...
Part of the Verizon VBG - Deal Velocity - Business Case and Inventory Support (BCIS) team, you will be responsible for researching and providing accurate and detailed customer inventory using multiple systems and tools. This data is used for financial decision making and accuracy is critical. You will be responsible for communicating with internal customers to get a clear understanding of deliverable expectations and manage deliverable timeframes.
Data gathering on customer inventory for renewal and technology transformation business cases for PCM and Sales (US and International)
- Extracting/importing data from various Verizon proprietary systems including IGT, VECRM, Billing Gateway, Guide, Contract Viewer, OLI (A3 Report), etc
- Analyze Complex & Large volume data, compare with other data sets for variances
- Requires troubleshooting, identifying gaps in the data and researching accuracy of data coming out of various systems.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, invoices and multiple internal systems.
- Effectively interpret and communicate gap analysis
Providing consolidated customer facing inventory
- Schedule and lead Discovery calls to understand each assigned business case and (internal) customer deliverable expectations (including due date)
- Creating a standard output that will allow sales team/PCM to present the info to customers
- Creating ad hoc financial models using analyzed data.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
- One or more years of relevant IT work experience.
- Expertise in Advanced Excel with an ability to use various functions, macros to process large data; Certification on MS Excel added advantage.
- Knowledge on Powerpoint / GSuite.
- Extremely detail oriented, strong analytical skills, verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
Even better if you have:
- Ability to operate independently with little guidance in a results oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
- Self-starter and be able to work independently.
- Exposure to Telecom industry is a plus.
