  • Visible: Visible, as a standalone brand family, caters to the digitally-savvy, single-line customers who prefer streamlined, online-first interactions. This brand is a testament to our adaptability, embracing the digital evolution of customer engagement.

  • Simple Mobile: Carving out a niche of its own, Simple Mobile shines as the premier choice among authorized resellers. Its consistent recognition as the most carried brand in Wave7 Research’s prepaid dealer survey for 36 consecutive quarters speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability.

What you’ll be doing…

The Vendor Channel Management Senior Manager is a critical role for the Verizon Value Organization (VVO), and is directly responsible for all Prepaid Mobile and Verizon Home products within their specific partner site(s). This role will report directly to the Director of Vendor Management for their particular partner group. The Senior Manager drives transformation through performance execution, delivers premium experiences through cross-team collaboration, and leads an organization that builds, maintains and drives results and relationships with current and prospective partners. The role is leading our vendor partners in various geographies across the globe with current operations in the Philippines and Latin America. This role directly influences key stakeholders (internal and external) by making decisions on behalf of the VVO leadership based on analysis derived from performance trends and field KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for performance outcomes of key service, operational, and sales KPI’s for the global portfolio of partners at specific locations.

  • Managing strategy, implementation, and optimization of partner relationships to maximize revenue and loyalty attainment and ensure partner commitment to the VVO.

  • Actively participate in partner performance management framework development and evaluations at project, partner, and program level (weekly reviews, monthly reviews, QBR’s)

  • Monitoring performance against plan and develop and execute strategies to address any underperforming partners and locations.

  • Tracking, analyzing, and communicating key metrics to help identify efficiency opportunities and to measure the impact of existing partner programs. Includes creating and delivering executive presentations.

  • Facilitating interaction, manage interdependencies, and conflict resolution among all functional teams globally.

  • Leading VVO site managers and channel partners while taking the lead role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute on innovative solutions

  • Staffing/Employee Relations: Ensures direct and indirect reports are staffed to optimal levels. Makes decisions regarding hiring, promotion and disciplinary actions.

  • Supporting in-person vendor support with meetings and training onsite internationally.

Where you'll be working…
In this hybrid role, you'll work from one of our hubs three days per week.

Travel Requirements: Minimum of 50% travel required. Must have a valid passport for international travel and be willing to meet international travel requirements.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll need to have…

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Five or more years of managing a large-scale team at a manager level or above.

  • Successful operational process management experience.

  • Five or more years of combined mobile sales, business development, and/or customer service experience.

  • Experience managing and influencing vendor relationships. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management and deliver compelling board presentations.

  • Mobile vendor experience leading diverse and geographically distributed field teams; a leader with proven managerial abilities; excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to coach, mentor, and train others.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to influence others.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel internationally.
