What you’ll be doing...

As Product Development Sr Manager, you will be responsible for building awareness and managing relationships with VPS Global Sales and other stakeholders in GPS, GNT, PMO, finance, legal, operations & marcom. Supporting Product Knowledge Bank (PKB) documentation and analysis, outcome identification, solution design and feasibility, product, business and go-to-market strategy for VPS Sales. Solutions and outcomes will leverage Verizon’s 4G/5G networks, Cyber Security portfolio, Verizon platform solutions, Data Center and Colocation services and core capabilities.

This position plays a vital role in assisting with establishing, qualifying, and supporting product strategy, sales and solutioning opportunities for VPS global sales and also creating new solutions leveraging Verizon’s assets and intellectual property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Establishing and managing relationships with VPS sales, resale partners and other stakeholders.

  • Identifying, documenting and analyzing partner/customer insights for trends, repeatability and scale.

  • Supporting to document, build and scale VPS outcomes which deliver transformational revenue growth and product leadership.

  • Establishing and executing the strategy for VPS capabilities and business opportunities across the diverse technology legacy businesses and determining linkage for growth with new emerging wireless FWA, Satellite, IoT & Platform services.

  • Facilitating communication across VPS sales by participating in all-hands and sub-department knowledge-share meetings and collaboration, working closely with the VPS sales leaders.

  • Participating in the opportunity discovery process to identify and document business and technical requirements during the awareness, discovery, feasibility and solutioning phases of the product and solution development lifecycle.

  • Assisting the Solution Architecture, Delivery and Support teams in the continued documentation of customer insights and project support throughout the customer relationship.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience identifying, documenting and articulating the business and technical requirements of a prospective customer during the full solution cycle – awareness, discovery, feasibility and solutioning lifecycle

  • Experience communicating software & network solutions to address prospect’s requirements through compelling presentation (written, oral and product demonstrations) of the applications and proposed solutions

  • Understanding of Cloud Computing, Data Centers, Colocation & professional services

  • Understanding of Global M2M/IoT roaming services/ecosystem

  • Understanding of Verizon core capabilities from Wireline, Wireless & Security

  • Experience working with large MNOs, MVNOs, OEMs, SIs & Resellers

  • Experience public speaking

  • Experience with Video Management Software, Video Analytics and Sensors

  • Understanding of underlying sensor components such as data ingestion, camera technology, AI, ML, DL big data & Blockchain.

  • Experience evangelizing technology innovation with leaders at large tech & telecom companies

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $221,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
