What you’ll be doing...

We're excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an experienced and passionate professional to join Verizon as a Supervisor of our Global Procurement Agent team. As a Global Procurement Supervisor you will support the procurement team responsible for complex purchase order processing for Verizon internal customers. Procurement agents are responsible for end-to-end Purchase order management for all lines of business. As a Supervisor of this team you will lead the team, ensure timely adherence to all key performance indicators and you will be a change agent in Procurement Digital Transformation Journey.
Key activities will include:

• Lead and train the team in systems and processes.

• Coach and mentor team members.

• Approve or reject orders based on review findings.

• Build a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

• Maintaining 100% Sarbanes Oxley and internal audit compliance.

• Support team self audits for adherence and compliance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; or relevant work experience.

• Empowered decision maker and relationship builder

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership skills

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Advanced degree such as an MBA

• APICS certification , Six-Sigma process Excellence, Lean Green Belt ( or an equivalent supply chain certification).

• Experience in the telecom, high tech or CPG industries.

• Worked with global partners from around the world.

• SAP or Ariba Experience

• Procurement Experience
