What you’ll be doing...
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for all phases of Implementation, Strategic Transformation Consulting, Business Blueprint, Process Simplification, GAP Analysis, Realization, cut-over, Post Implementation support until Transition Management. Collaboration with functional team members and lead developments independently.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Middleware skills such as PI/PO, CPI applications. Must have experience in integration with supplier systems with EDI's. As an integration lead must have skills to understand Supply Chain, Finance functionalities to understand the requirement so as to do better interface designing.

You will be leading Middleware technologies including SAP PI/PO, BTP, CPI-DS and APIGEE, taking a broad-based view of business processes across core functional domains for both domestic US and global business entities to integration solutions across SAP platform and boundary systems across the ecosystem. This role will interface with product owners, agile product teams, platform services and strategy & operations in order to fulfill the stated primary goal.

  • Should have nine years at least with good communication skills and participate in design discussions

  • Must have two or more end-end implementation experience

  • Experience in setting up standards in S4HANA CoE for BRDs, KDDS, Functional Specifications, guidance on technical specifications & Standards, Peer to peer Review standards

  • Must have project migration strategy experience (PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite)

  • Should be having skills to estimate the work, complexity, and suggest right MW solution

  • Assess the existing system and propose any improvements

  • Must have skills in PI/PO, CPI, EDI, API management, etc.

  • Good knowledge in AIF config and monitoring skills

  • Mentor the existing team with his/her design thinking skills

  • Prepare the documentation for any missing areas

  • Prepare the best practices, coding standards, naming standards, etc.

  • Conduct any POC on the latest areas (SAP Integration Suite, Edge Integration Cell)

  • Participating in code reviews and adhering to coding standards and best practices.

  • Participating in DR exercises, system upgrades, and migrations

  • Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to middleware systems

  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documentation

  • Assisting in performance tuning and optimization of existing interfaces if require re-design

  • Staying up to date with the latest developments and advancements in SAP middleware technology.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate integration solutions with other systems and modules.

  • Strong command on integrating Supply Chain on Inventory Planning, Procurement, Invoicing, Inventory Management and Logistics (Internal GR)

What we’re looking for...
You are self-driven with experience in design and implementation of complex and distributed systems, particularly in building high-performance interfaces. You have a passion for seeking engineering excellence and adopting new technologies. You are not afraid to drive for success by working with multi-functional teams.
You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Six or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Must have skills in SAP PI/PO, CPI and BTP Integration Suite expert level

  • Knowledge of software lifecycle managements such as Agile, and SAP ASAP

  • Experience with development with OData/SOAP/HTTP/RESTful APIs, Microservices

  • Experience with EDI integrations (EDIFACT, and ANSI X12)

  • Experience handling various stakeholders, understanding of Product Platform Operating model in an ecosystem that includes SAP, Non-SAP, Other ERP systems and in house products and SAAS products

  • Experience in handling the technical nuances in S4HANA that has touch points with multiple and varied peripheral systems

  • Effective Communication and Business Presentation skills

  • Good Interpersonal skills handling multiple stakeholder

  • Professional certifications on Middleware area

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Any master's degree

  • Knowledge in IS-Retail functional areas which includes trade-in, Grading, Inventory Management, Work forward guaranty Returns, Repair Returns, etc.

  • Good understanding of SAP S4 functional areas such as SAP Supply Chain, OTC, Finance, BRIM, IBP (Planning systems)

  • Knowledge in other MW systems such as APIGEE, Seeburger, Ariba CIG, and CPI-DS

  • Good to have skills in other than SAP MW systems such as Dell Boomi, Mulesoft
